YARD WASTE / LEAF MATERIAL

 Yard waste/leaf material is collected by Veolia Environmental Services bi-weekly, on your garbage day, starting the third week in March through the week before Thanksgiving (refer to the Garbage/Recycling Calendar for specific dates). 

Yard Waste is: bundled twigs and sticks (not to exceed 4 feet in length, 2 feet in diameter and weigh less than 50#), stumps, roots or shrubs with intact root balls, clean woody vegetative material no greater than 6" in diameter, garden debris.

Yard Waste shall be placed in biodegradable paper bags, or containers composted of non-rusty metal, non-breakable plastic or rubber with undamaged lifting handles. No more than 30 gallon capacity.

Leaves shall be placed in biodegradable paper bags, or containers composed of non-rusty metal, non-breakable plastic or rubber with undamaged lifting handles. No more than 30 gallon capacity. Untied plastic bags should be used as a last resort when preparing leaves for pick up, as plastic bags are not biodegradable.

GRASS CLIPPINGS ARE NOT PICKED UP IN THE TOWN OF MENASHA.

GRASS CLIPPINGS ARE NOT ACCEPTED AT THE TOWN OF MENASHA DROP-OFF CENTER.

Grass clippings may be transported to the Winnebago County Landfill in Oshkosh.
