1.     CALL TO ORDER, PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

         President Tews called the Meeting of Utility District Commissioners to order at 5:00 p.m.

 

Elected Officials Present:   Arden Tews, Pres.       Jay Schroeder, Comm. #1      Scott Sauer, Comm. #2      

Jerry Jurgensen, Comm. #3      Russ Handevidt, Comm. #4      Jeanne Krueger, Secretary 

 

Others Present:  James Archambo, Admin.      George Dearborn, Com. Dev. Dir.   

Steve Laabs, Wastewater Supt.        Jeff Roth, Water Supt.        

Excused:   Myra Piergrossi, Fin. Director;   Paula Pagel, Acc’t. Mgr. /D.T.  Absent:  Brad Werner

MOTION:  Handevidt/Jurgensen to adopt to approve the expenditures as submitted with the exception of (none).  Motion carried.

a)    Regular Utility Commission Meeting – May 10, 2004

MOTION: Sauer/Jurgensen to approve the minutes as submitted.  Motion carried with Supv. Handevidt abstaining due to absence.  

 
9.    CORRESPONDENCE

a)    Water Pumpage Report – April 2004       

MOTION: Handevidt/Jurgensen to accept the correspondence for filing as submitted.  Motion carried.

 

10.   REPORTS

a)    Town Admin. James Archambo:

c)    Water Supt. Jeff Roth:  handed out “Water Rate Comparison” sheets.  See attached  2) lengthy discussion regarding the rate increase imposed by the City of Menasha’s Utility District;  3) stated $2500.00 was received for the 1995 utility truck from last Saturday’s auction;  4)  the water relay project will be starting later this week;  5)  Prospect/Bodoh Way/Casaloma project to start June 1st.

 

d)    Wastewater Supt. Steve Laabs:  Alaskan Acres lift-station update.

 

e)    Commissioners

 

f)     Comm. President Arden Tews:  stated that something has to be done regarding the Richard Carlson letter concerning the Bachmann property utility assessments.

 

g)   Other Town Officials

                 George Dearborn, Dir/Comm. Dev.: continues to work with East Central regarding the        Sewer Service Amendment
