UTILITY DISTRICT COMMISSION REGULAR MEETING

Municipal Complex - Assembly Room - Monday, April 26, 2004

 

Minutes

 

1.     CALL TO ORDER, PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

         President Tews called the Meeting of Utility District Commissioners to order at 5:41p.m.

 

Elected Officials Present:     Arden Tews, Pres.     Jay Schroeder, Comm. #1     Scott Sauer, Comm. #2      

Jerry Jurgensen, Comm. #3      Russ Handevidt, Comm. #4      Jeanne Krueger, Secretary

a)    040426-1:UD Resolution Declaring Intent to Impose Special Assessments Adjacent to Bodoh Way, Casaloma Drive and Prospect Avenue

MOTION: Handevidt/Schroeder to adopt to approve with the following amendments; 

1)  Add a condition “c” under Condition # 1 “Winnebago County Register of Deeds:  The Town Clerk shall register this information to Winnebago County Register of Deeds.

 

2) Condition #7:  add “Both sewer & water assessments shall be treated equally”;

 

3) Add a Condition#9, “Terms & conditions contained in this resolution together with the outstanding assessment shall be recorded against each property that special assessments are applied.  Any changes or alterations including sale of any portion of said property shall require utility hook-up within one (1) year.”

 

Regarding the amendments, MOTION:  Handevidt/Schroeder to approve.  On roll call, motion carried with all commission members voting AYE.

 

Regarding the resolution as amended, MOTION: Jurgensen/Sauer to approve as amended.  On roll call, Motion carried with all Commission members voting AYE. 

 

b)    040426-2:UD Bid Award – 2004 Water Main and Sanitary Sewer Extension of Casaloma Drive, Bodoh Way and County Highway BB

MOTION: Schroeder/Handevidt to adopt to approve as submitted. Roll call votes were taken, with all town board members voting AYE.  Motion carried.

 

c)    040426-3:UD Reject Bid – 2004 Water Main Relay Projects

MOTION: Handevidt/Jurgensen to adopt to approve as submitted. Motion carried.

 

 

 

 

d)    040426-4:UD  Expenditures

MOTION: Handevidt/Schroeder to adopt to approve the expenditures as submitted with the exception of (none).  Motion carried.

 

e)    040426-5:UD Appointment of Representative to Grand Chute-Menasha West Sewerage Commission – Scott Sauer

MOTION: Handevidt/Jurgensen to adopt to approve as submitted. Motion carried with Comm. Sauer abstaining.
