1. CALL TO ORDER, PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
President Tews called the Meeting of Utility District Commissioners to order at 5:00 p.m.

a) 040112-1:UD Expenditures
MOTION: Sauer/Jurgensen to adopt to approve the expenditures as submitted with the exception of (none). Motion carried.
MOTION: Handevidt/Hanson to approve the minutes as submitted. Motion carried.
a) Water Main Break Report – December 2003

MOTION: Handevidt/Sauer to accept the correspondence for filing as submitted. Motion carried.
a) Town Admin. James Archambo: stated the Town of Menasha has as many water main breaks as the City of Appleton (See Report); 2) reported 21,578 Utility customers in the town’s service area (See Report).

c) Water Supt. Jeff Roth: update on well #5 reconstruction; 2) water Pumpage increase (see attached report).
d) Wastewater Supt. Steve Laabs: 1446 Glenview Drive 1) stated utility hook up at 1446 Glenview Dr. has finally been completed 2) Alaskan Acres Lift Station: The lift station is still not electrically hooked up. There is concern that several homes will be completed in 4-5 weeks and owners will not be able to obtain occupancy until the lift-station is completed. Fin. Dir. Piergrossi also stated she was having difficulty collecting on Alaskan Acres invoices. The board members directed that a certified letter be sent to developer John Davel stating there will be no occupancy until the Alaskan Acres project is in compliance. They further stated that non-compliance could result in homes being red-tagged.
e) Commissioners
Comm. Hanson: expressed surprise at Water Supt. Roth’s report that the Town is the largest in the state for amount of water main breaks (see attached report). 2) requested information as to the contractor on the ravine project. It was thought to be Advance
Comm. Jurgensen: expressed concern for the cost of the main breaks.
