3. PUBLIC FORUM – NON-AGENDIZED TOWN RELATED MATTERS
Limited to Ten Minutes – Non-Repetitive Matters
Pursuant to WI State Statutes 19.83(2) and 19.84(2), the public may present matters; however, they cannot
be discussed or acted upon until specific notice of the subject matter of the proposed action can be given.
Resident Mary Couillard, Brighton Beach Rd., expressed her support of the Trestle Trail project and further stated the Town should not always consider only the low bidder.
4. DISCUSSION ITEMS
a) Winchester Road Identification Signs
Admin. Archambo stated he had been in contact with an employee of the WI-DOT who stated he felt a dual identity was a good idea (calling the roadway both Winchester Rd. & County II). Chief Kiesow stated the county’s 911 system specifically named the roadway “County II” and calling it by both names may cause problems with the county’s 911 emergency process. Board members felt the town’s representatives for Winnebago County were not assisting as they should for issues like this and rarely, if ever, attend town board meetings.
