MOTIONS BY SUPERVISORS
At 6:47 p.m.,
MOTION: Handevidt/Sauer to convene into closed session pursuant to 19.85(1)(e)
of the WI State Statutes; deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public
properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public
business whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session,
specifically to discuss the purchase of property for Palisades Drainage. Motion carried.

ensued regarding the appraisal of 2 ˝ acres of land at a price of $40,000 per
acre or total of $100,000 for the purpose of creating a drainage basin. The property is owned by Palisades Property,
Inc., parcel #008-0040. (See Attached
Document).
At 8:12 p.m., MOTION: Handevidt/Jurgensen pursuant to 19.85(2) of
the WI State Statutes; the Town Board will reconvene into open session to act
on any business discussed in closed session.
Motion carried.
MOTION: Handevidt/Sauer to purchase 2 ˝ acres of land
(parcel #008-0040) for a price of $40,000 per acre (Total $100,000). This purchase will be utilized for the
purpose of creating a drainage basin in order to alleviate flooding problems in
the area. Motion carried unanimously.
The Board members also directed the
Town Chairman and Town Clerk to sign necessary documents for this transaction.
