MINUTES

1) CHAIRMAN TEWS TO CALL TO ORDER

Town Chair Arden Tews called the Special Meeting of the Public Hearing to order at 5:30 p.m.

ELECTED OFFICIALS PRESENT: Arden Tews, Town Chair Barbara Hanson, Supv. #1

Jerry Jurgensen, Supv. #3 Russ Handevidt, Supr. #4 Scott Sauer, Supv. #2

Jeanne Krueger, Clerk

ALSO PRESENT: James Archambo, Adm. Myra Piergrossi, Finance Dir.

George Dearborn, Com. Dev. Dir. Jolene Moran Paul Moran Gerald Altenhofen

Rochelle Altenhofen Mike King, Post Crescent Newspaper

Discussion ensued regarding changing the name of Century Oaks Drive to Packer Valley Drive. Jolene Moran gave a handout to the board members with reasons as to why NOT to change the name of Century Oaks Drive. (See attached)

2) EXPLANATION OF REQUEST BY GERALD & ROCHELLE ALTENHOFEN TO RENAME CENTURY OAKS DRIVE TO PACKER VALLEY DRIVE: M/M Altenhofen explained the reasoning behind the request for name change stating they are contemplating building two apartment complexes on this roadway and do not want confusion to occur with Century Oaks Ct. which is home to a 4-plex CBRF.

3) EXPLAIN COSTS TO BE PAID BY REQUESTORS ACCORDING TO THE TOWN’S MUNICIPAL CODE BOOK 9.15(1): M/M Altenhofen agreed to pay all costs associated with the requested name change.

4) CLOSE THE PUBLIC HEARING

At 5:44 p.m., Chairman Arden Tews closed the Public Hearing.
