12) MOTIONS
BY SUPERVISORS
At
8:01 a.m. MOTION: Jurgensen/Hanson; Peterson/Zaborsky to convene into closed
session pursuant to 19.85(1)(c) of the WI State Statutes; considering
employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any
public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises
responsibility, specifically to interview the finalists for the Park &
Recreation Director position. Motion carried.
Interviews
ensued with four candidates for the position of the town’s Director of Park
& Recreation.
At
2:00 p.m., MOTION: Jurgensen/Sauer; Zaborsky/Holtz pursuant to 19.85(2) of the
WI State Stats.; the Town Board & Park Commission will reconvene into open
session to act on any business discussed in closed session. Motion carried.
a) Offer
made to Candidate Michael Kading
MOTION: Zaborsky/Holtz
to offer Michael Kading the position of Director of Parks & Recreation at an
annual salary of $49,002. (Grade 16 Step 1).
Motion Carried with all town board members voting AYE along with Park Commissions
Zaborsky, Holtz, Peterson, Kuehn & Pres. Gawinski. Commissioner Horn voted NAY.
