SPECIAL PARK COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES October 29, 2003

Commission Members Present: Richard Gawinski, Roy Kuehn, Herb Horn, John Zaborsky, Clarence Peterson, and Glen Allen

Absent: Commissioner Judy Holtz

The meeting was held at the Community Center and was called to order by Richard Gawinski, President, at 7:00 p.m. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited and roll call taken.

MOTION: By Commissioner Clarence Peterson, seconded by Commissioner Glen Allen to move to closed session. Motion carried unanimously.

MOTION: By Commissioner Glen Allen, seconded by Commissioner Herb Horn to adjourn closed session. Motion carried unanimously.

MOTION: By Commissioner Clarence Peterson, seconded by Commissioner Roy Kuehn to re-convene into open session. Motion carried unanimously.

MOTION: By Commissioner John Zaborsky, seconded by Commissioner Glen Allen to amend the 2004 Park and Recreation budget as follows.

1. Increase park rental fee income by $2,000.00
2. Reduce improvements to Wittmann Park by $5,000.00
3. Reduce the number of temporary employees by 2 for a savings of $8,925.64
4. Reduce park improvements by $3528.36

Motion carried unanimously.

MOTION FOR ADJOURNMENT BY COMMISSIONERS

Motion by Commissioner Clarence Peterson, seconded by Commissioner Roy Kuehn to adjourn the October 29, 2003 meeting at 8:15 pm. Motion carried unanimously.
