meeting was held at the Community Center and was called to order by Richard
Gawinski, President, at 7:00 p.m. The

distributed a letter from the Winnebago Count Department of Human Services
outlining their offer of free summer help to maintain our parks.
We
received a quote from Paul Zeller of Miller Associates, for a sign, for
“Palisades Handicapped Exercise Area”.
The cost of the sign was $250.00.
A motion was made by Glen Allen and seconded by John Zaborsky to
authorize the purchase of the sign. The
motion passed unanimously.

Verhagan of Superior Electric has been contacted for
a quote on upgrading the electrical service in the storage shed at

regulating amplified music in the parks.
The
park crew finished installing eight park benches.
Last
weekend we had 13 park rentals. This
weekend we have 12 rentals.

The request for a grant has been submitted to the
State of
George and Diana reviewed the raw data of the survey
results. We had a 30% return rate. George will provide a detailed report to the park
commissioners by our next meeting.

The discussion of the proposed Suburban Athletics
batting cage upgrade with Roy Buchholz will be postponed until the end of the
baseball season per his request.
