MINUTES
I. CALL TO ORDER, PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
President Tews
called the Meeting of Utility District Commissioners to order at

Engineer Brad Warner stated he is involved in a two-fold study consisting
of providing water/sewer to Warehouse Specialists, Inc.
Comm. Dev. Dir. George Dearborn stated the final
results of the study will be presented to the Utility District Commissioners on
Dec. 16th. Kevin Wentland, representing K-C,
explained the urgent need for sewer and water services for the K-C research
facility. Concerns were expressed that
capacity may take away from the t/Menasha.
c) Water Supt. Jeff Roth reported
that there were 10 water breaks over this past weekend, one on the west side
and nine on the east side. A gas line
was damaged causing residents to be evacuated.
Chairman Tews suggested on emergencies such as this, it may be feasible
to call in Street and Park Department personnel for assistance.

President Arden Tews stated about $1 million has been spent in pipe repairs
in the last two yrs.

Jeanne Krueger, UD Sec’y. Secretary
Krueger asked about the percentage of metal and PVC laterals. Supt. Roth stated the district has almost 50%
of the PVC material installed for the district.
Paula Pagel stated Jim Kirk from the Grand
Chute/Menasha Treatment will be invited to speak on the t/Clayton water/sewer
issue at the Dec. 16th Utility Commission Meeting.
