MINUTES

I. CALL TO ORDER

Town Chair Arden Tews called the Public Hearing at 5:33 p.m.

Myra Piergrossi, Dir. of Finance Greg Curtis, Town Attorney

George Dearborn, Com. Dev.Dir./Interim Admin. Richard Eiberger, Assessor

II. DISCUSSION REGARDING THE ONEIDA STREET SIDEWALK JOINT PROJECT BETWEEN THE CITY OF APPLETON & TOWN OF MENASHA

Certified mailings were sent to the eight property owners along with the Notice of Public Hearing, a drawing of the project and costs to each property owner regarding the installation of sidewalks along So. Oneida Street.

Alderperson Jo Egelhoff, City of Appleton and Town of Menasha Clerk, Jeanne Krueger explained the sidewalk project to be constructed by the c/Appleton and to be paid by the special assessment process between the c/Appleton and the t/Menasha.

Property owners David Cotrell and Jeff Renard were not in favor of the project.

Property owner Mr. Craig Lutz of V&L Stripping requested to do concrete work himself. Alderperson Egelhoff stated this can be done with a permit from the c/Appleton and must conform to Appleton’s sidewalk standards.

III. CLOSE THE PUBLIC HEARING

Being no further comments, Chairman Tews closed the Public Hearing at 5:56 p.m.
