MINUTES

 

I.        CALL TO ORDER, PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE AND ROLL CALL

President Arden Tews called the Regular Meeting of Utility District Commissioners to order at 5:00 p.m. and led the Pledge of Allegiance.

 

Utility District Secretary, Jeanne Krueger noted the roll as follows:

A.            010709-1:UD  Expenditures

MOTION: Comm. Handevidt, second Comm. Sprague to adopt the resolution and approve the expenditures as submitted with the exception of (none).  Motion carried unanimously.

 

B.                010709-2:UD  Connection to Sanitary Sewer and Municipal Water Lines and Activate Deferred Assessment

 

Much Discussion ensued among residents regarding the connection to the sanitary sewer and municipal water lines and activating the deferred assessment to their properties.

 

MOTION: Comm. Sprague, second Comm. Jurgensen to adopt to approve the resolution, with Addendum “A” to be finalized by July 19th, 2001.  On roll call vote, motion carried unanimously.

 

C.                010709-3:UD  Agreement to Forgive Recapture and Install Laterals

MOTION: Comm. Sprague, second Comm. Jurgensen to adopt to approve the resolution as submitted.  On roll call, motion carried unanimously.

MOTION: Comm. Jurgensen, second Comm. Sprague to adopt the resolution and approve the correspondence as submitted.  Motion carried unanimously.

 Water Supt. Jeff Roth 1) water main work finished on East Shady Lane.

 

Geo. Dearborn:  1) mandatory lift station for a proposed new subdivision off Irish
