President Arden Tews called the Regular Meeting of Utility District Commissioners to order at 4:45 p.m. and led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Utility District Secretary Carlene L. Sprague noted the roll as follows:

Charles Baxter, 1406 North Street, requested that the Utility Commission accept the Quick Claim Deed of the Glenview Park Water Works. He requested that this property continue as a park.
Administrator DeGrave This issue will be put on the Agenda for the October 9th meeting.
Doris Spoo, 1373 Oriole Court Its been a park since 1962. Why would it not continue as a park?
Administrator DeGrave It is a question of ownership. The liability for the Town requires that we evaluate the equipment that is already present. We will also need the Park Commission to accept it.
Laura Mills, 1437 Deerwood Drive I am glad that you informed us that we need to approach the Park Commission. I live next door to the park and I can see that it gets used frequently.
A. 000814:2UD Intermunicipal Agreement with Town of Neenah
MOTION: Commissioner Sprague, second Commissioner Jurgensen to adopt the resolution and approve the Town of Menasha / Town of Neenah Utility Agreement.
Motion carried unanimously.
V. NEW BUSINESS
A. 000925-1:UD Expenditures
MOTION: Commissioner Sprague, second Supervisor Jurgensen to adopt the resolution and approve the expenditures with the exception of (none). Motion carried unanimously.
MOTION: Commissioner Sprague, second Commissioner Krueger to adopt the resolution and approve the agreement authorizing the Utility District President and Commission Secretary to sign the amendment to the agreement for transportation of wastewater between Town of Menasha Utility District and the Waverly Sanitary District.
Motion carried unanimously.

MOTION: Commissioner Sprague, second Commissioner Jurgensen to accept the minutes as submitted. Motion carried unanimously.
MOTION: Commissioner Sprague, second Commissioner Krueger to accept the correspondence for filing. Motion carried unanimously.
X. REPORTS
B. Engineer - None
C. Water Superintendent - None
D. Wastewater Superintendent Steve Laabs reported in regards to the Highway 114 sewer construction project and the progress to date.
He also reported that Neenah-Menasha Ford built a structure over the Town of Menasha Utility sewer and water main. He stated that there will be potential problems that will need to be addressed regarding the easement.
Steve Laabs also provided background information regarding a sewer back-up problem on Hwy O. A request for carpet cleaning reimbursement had been received.
F. Town Engineer Brad Werner reported on the status of the Brian Sitzberger claim of damage to his swimming pool by Paschke Drilling and Blasting Company. Representatives from this company stated that they reviewed this claim and in their opinion, the damage to Mr. Sitzbergers pool could not have been caused by them.
Administrator DeGrave addressed the request by Brian Sitzberger for the Town to remove his riprap and to landscape this area, creating a visual improvement. He directed the Street Superintendent to take care of the problem.
G. Commission Chairman Tews Chairman Tews stated that Betty Clifford, wife of Harold Clifford, former Commissioner of Sanitary District 4, recently passed away. The Utility Commission and staff noted their respect and sympathy for Mr. Clifford.
