TOWN BOARDS OF SUPERVISORS

MINUTES

Agendas with resolutions were posted at the Municipal Complex, Fire Station 40, Sanitary District No. 4. Agendas, with resolutions, were also mailed to the Appleton, Menasha, and Neenah Public Libraries.

    1. CALL TO ORDER, PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE AND ROLL CALL

Town Chairman Arden Tews, called the Special Meeting of the Town Board of Supervisors to order at 6:00 P.M. p.m. and led the Pledge of Allegiance.

Supervisor #1 Jeanne Krueger, noted the roll as follows:

II. NEW BUSINESS

A. 990830-1:Special: Set Public Hearing Date to Form Utility District

MOTION: Supv. Krueger, second Supv. Jurgensen to set the Public Hearing for Monday, September 13, 1999 at 5:30 p.m. Motion carried unanimously with Supervisor Sprague excused.

B. 990830-2:Special: Relocation Order – Olde Buggy Drive

MOTION: Supv. Krueger, second Supv. Nennig to approve the resolution as submitted. Motion carried with Chairman Tews Abstaining and Supervisor Sprague excused.

III. MOTION BY SUPERVISORS

To adjourn into closed session pursuant to 19.85(g) of the Wisconsin State Statutes; conferring with legal counsel for the governmental body who is rendering oral or written advice concerning strategy to be adopted by the body with respect to litigation in which it is or is likely to become involved. Pursuant to 19.85(2) of the Wisconsin State Statutes; the Town Board may reconvene into open session to act on any business discussed in closed session.

It was unnecessary for the Town Board of Supervisors to adjourn into closed session.

IV. ADJOURNMENT

MOTION: Supv. Krueger, second Supv. Jurgensen to adjourn the Special Meeting at 6:07 p.m. Motion carried unanimously.
