Mr. Tews was elected to
the Board of Supervisors in September of 1987. After serving 10 years as
Supervisor 4, he was elected in April of 1997 as Chairman, a position he
continues to serve in today. Mr. Tews is also President of the Town of
Menasha Utility District Commission which was formed in 1999 and the Stormwater Utility Commission formed in 2009. He serves as Vice
President of the Grand Chute Menasha West Sewerage Commission, Chairman
of the Board of Review, and a member of the Town of Menasha Personnel
Committee.

A resident of the Town
since 1965, Chairman Tews is retired from sales.
PERSONAL
Married to Eileen with
three adult children and two grandchildren. Past President and Elder of
St. Matthews Lutheran Church where he ushers and is a choir member. Mr.
Tews and his wife coordinate the shut-in program at St. Matthew’s for
the elderly who can’t attend church service.
Mr. Tews is an avid
gardener having an apple and pear orchard with over 60 trees. He is also
an enthusiastic sports fan cheering for the Packers, Badgers and the
Brewers. He enjoys representing the Town of Menasha in local parades,
ribbon cutting ceremonies, grand openings, and events at Spring Road
Elementary School and St. Mary’s Central High School.
